Past paper practice is the single most predictive activity for exam success. Our tutors don’t just hand you papers — they diagnose your error patterns and rebuild the gaps that keep appearing.
Every student gets a structured journey from diagnostic to exam day — no guesswork, no generic lesson plans.
Your tutor assesses current understanding, identifies knowledge gaps, and reviews past exam performance to build a clear picture of where to focus.
A topic-by-topic roadmap is designed around your exam date, school calendar, and target grade — shared with parents before sessions begin.
Concept mastery, worked examples, and targeted questioning in every session — followed by structured homework tied directly to your learning plan.
In the 6–8 weeks before exams, sessions shift to timed past papers, mark scheme analysis, and examiner-style feedback on every response.

Found tutoronics when no other tuitions were helping. extremely professional and tailored lessonsPosted on Reem MuradTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took chemistry international AS level, with Ms Qurat ul ain.I started the course on february 2024 inorder to be prepared for my summer examination also in 2024.The service is incredible and affordable as well, which is very difficult to find elsewhere.I am glad i chose to take chemistry with tutoronics. The teacher is amazing and extremely kind and helpful. She is always there to help and clear doubts.I only had less than 4 months to entirely understand the content and i am very satisfied that i was able to do so.All thanks to Ms Qurat ul ain.I highly recommend choosing tutoronics especially for chemistry with Ms Qurat.Posted on Shaista AsifTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My son took accounting and maths tuition with them from grade 11 till A level. He scored A grades. I am satisfied with the results and teaching of the teachers. I will continue for my daughter also through them. Good pricing also 👍
Advanced questions answered by our academic team — covering curriculum depth, methodology, and exam strategy.
Yes. Physical chemistry is mathematically intensive and our physics-chemistry tutors are well-suited to these topics. Thermochemistry (Hess’s Law, enthalpy cycles, Born-Haber cycles), electrochemistry (Nernst equation, standard electrode potentials), and chemical kinetics (rate equations, Arrhenius equation, half-life calculations) all draw heavily on algebraic and graphical skills our tutors teach across both subjects. For IB Chemistry HL and A Level Chemistry, these quantitative topics represent a disproportionate share of marks in Papers 2 and 3 and receive dedicated coverage in our sessions.
Our past paper methodology goes well beyond timed practice. We use a structured five-stage process: (1) timed sitting under exam conditions; (2) self-marking against the official mark scheme; (3) error categorisation — distinguishing between careless errors, knowledge gaps, and misapplied techniques; (4) targeted re-teaching of identified weaknesses; (5) re-testing on equivalent questions from a different paper. We also cross-reference student error patterns with published examiner reports to identify which concepts the examining body itself flags as commonly misunderstood. This produces measurable grade movement in 6–8 weeks.
For Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625), we cover all four papers: Multiple Choice (Paper 1), Core Theory (Paper 2), Extended Theory (Paper 3), and either the Coursework alternative (Paper 4) or the Practical paper (Papers 5 and 6). Practical skills — drawing apparatus diagrams, identifying sources of error, suggesting improvements, plotting graphs with correct error bars — are often overlooked by students and represent a full 20–30% of marks depending on paper variant. Our tutors specifically drill the experimental skills assessed in Paper 5 (planning and analysis) and Paper 6 (alternative to coursework), which many students under-prepare for.
Absolutely. This combination is increasingly common in Dubai international schools among students who want science breadth without the full mathematical rigour of AA HL. Our maths and science tutors coordinate sessions across both subjects to avoid timetable clashes and, crucially, to reinforce cross-subject skills: statistical analysis in biology (chi-squared tests, t-tests, standard deviation) maps directly onto the statistics strand of AI SL Maths. We can run concurrent sessions, or a single tutor can be assigned to cover both subjects if the student prefers continuity.
Under the current UK A Level reforms (2017 onwards), most exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR) have a compulsory content model — Pure Mathematics is now mandatory for all students, and statistics and mechanics content is examined in Paper 3. Students no longer choose between statistics-only or mechanics-only routes. However, different schools weight classroom teaching differently, and students often arrive with significant gaps in one strand. Our A Level maths tutors assess both and provide targeted support — typically intensive mechanics coaching for students from schools with a statistics-heavy classroom culture, and vice versa. Mid-year rebalancing is standard practice for us.
This depends on starting point and timeline to exams. For students beginning 4–6 months before their final exams, our data shows an average of 1.5–2 grade boundaries of improvement across both subjects. Students who begin early in Year 12 (or IB Year 1) and work consistently through to exams regularly achieve their target grades for top-tier university applications. For students in a “rescue” situation with 6–10 weeks to exams, we focus entirely on high-yield past paper work and can still produce meaningful improvement — our past paper sprint programme has an 87% success rate in moving students at least one grade boundary.
